Molteni&C Designer: Yasuhiko Itoh MHC.2 is a re-edition of the bookcase prototype designed in 1959 by Yasuhiko Itoh. Made in curved wood, a complex process for that time period, it won an award at the 3rd edition of the Selettiva competition in Cantù del 1959. Molteni&C Designer: Rodolfo Dordoni Filigree is a range of fixed size and extension tables. Glossy and matt diecast aluminium frames underpin tops enhanced by a wide range of finishes. The technology used in the discreet Filigree main element allows an extendable table with an invisible lateral telescopic system. The entire top is without cuts, and extends to double its size.
Molteni&C Designer: Gio Ponti Marked by hand-painted white drawer fronts with applied handles in various wood kinds (elm, Italian walnut, mahogany and rosewood). Chest of drawers designed in several versions in the period from 1952 to 1955. The new version was produced using original drawings kept in the Gio Ponti Archives and the art direction for the Gio Ponti Collection came from Studio Cerri & Associati.The elmwood frame rests on satin brass feet.
Molteni&C Designer: Vincent Van Duysen Paul is a set of elegantly proportioned sofas with reassuring lines, elements that emphasize Vincent Van Duysen’s expressive rationality. The project includes linear sofas, angular compositions, chaises longues and islands, all with a single seat cushion.
Molteni&C Designer: Gio Ponti The armchair, on the other hand, was designed for one of the projects closest to Gio Ponti’s heart, the villa of the Planchart collectors in Caracas (1953-57). It is part of the Gio Ponti Collection, which was curated by Molteni&C under the artistic direction of Studio Cerri & Associati.
