Molteni&C Designer: Rodolfo Dordoni Wish is the best example of the use of wood and attention given to details to create a timeless classic. A bed in solid wood with minimal, refined lines, comes with soft pillows for the head, in fabric or in leather, which combine with the woods of the structure. Gray or black oak, light or dark elm (solid oak pieces dyed). An eucalyptus version is made from solid wood and dyed veneer.
Molteni&C Designer: Ron Gilad This design, featuring slender, well-proportioned forms, was deeply inspired by tradition, and the art of cabinet making played an essential role in defining the profile of the high, upholstered headboard and the bedframe supported by tall feet at the sides.
Molteni&C Designer: Rodolfo Dordoni On the southern bank of the Thames, Greenwich is home to the famous Royal Observatory and the Prime Meridian Line. Despite being a refined district of London, Greenwich still enjoys the freshness and tranquility of a small English town far from the roar of the nearby City.
Molteni&C Designer: Neri & Hu Shanghai-based Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu, partners in both work and life, have designed their bed, or more precisely an integrated furniture system for the bedroom, to ensure a good night’s sleep. NYCxDESIGN Award, 2020 | Winner, Residential Furniture category.
Molteni&C Designer: Vincent Van Duysen Ribbon is a fabulously soft textile bed with a young, modern design, using natural materials. Ribbon, by Vincent Van Duysen, marks the Flemish designer’s debut with Molteni&C. The textile or leather upholstery hooks up to a ribbon, with leather details, that runs all the way round the headboard and bed and serves both a structural and an aesthetic purpose. As in a rosette, the soft and inviting silhouette underlines the familiarity of the object.
Molteni&C Designer: Hannes Wettstein Severe volumes for amazing functionality. Hannes Wettstein designs “architecture for rest” of classic elegance, without giving up ergonomic comfort. An upholstered bed with classic shape and proportions which is embellished by a vertical cord placed on the padded headboard. The inside of the headboard houses a moving mechanism with two positions to ensure adequate support for a comfortable reading position.
Molteni&C Designer: Vincent Van Duysen A bed that perfectly expresses Vincent Van Duysen’s design philosophy, where essentiality and carefully chosen materials achieve a perfect synthesis. Delicate but clean lines for a harmonious aesthetic balance, the result of reducing anything superfluous.
Molteni&C Designer: Rodolfo Dordoni Fulham Road, in the heart of the City of London, gives its name to the bed that the Milanese designer has created for a comfortable and regenerating night’s sleep. The wooden base, available in a range of colors to match any bedroom décor, makes the bed the protagonist of itself. The wrap-around textile or leather headboard provides a cosy and relaxing niche in which to rest, read or watch television.
